The Belt-Filter-Press SNP is a highly efficient system for the dewatering of sludge and other suspensions. The pre-thickening process in the solids / liquid separation is followed by a pressing with 14 rollers and an increasing pressure of up to 20 bar.
The achieved reduction of volume reduces the costs for transport, disposal and utilization and prepares the sludge for further treatments, like e.g. drying. One essential advantage of the Belt-Filter-Press SNP is that it can be combined with a predewatering zone (e.g. by installing a Gravity-Belt-Thickener BGT on top of the press) to increase the throughput even in case of low DS-concentration at the inlet.
